I decided to become a chiropractor after experiencing my own dramatic health improvements as a patient. I had developed asthma shortly after a seemingly minor neck and upper back injury while playing football in high school.
Over the course of a couple of years my condition worsened to the point of having to use two different inhalers and medication as many as nine times a day to control my symptoms. At the same time I was on my college's track and rugby team (Plattsburgh State University). I was in great shape, but I was not healthy.
My condition continued to deteriorate until I decided to try something different. The day I met my chiropractor at the health club I was working at, literally changed my life.
While under chiropractic care, I experienced a gradual decrease in my dependence to my inhalers while my posture and spinal function improved. After a year of care I found that I didn't need my inhaler anymore! Off to chiropractic school I went (Logan College of Chiropractic).
After being so dependent on the medications I would not have believed it unless I had actually lived it! Not every patient experiences these kinds of results, but you'll never know unless you try!
I'm looking forward to meeting you personally.
